Sweet little Bella Bird Encaustic Featured

My sweet little "Bella Bird"  encaustic mixed media painting is being featured on the etsy  Beeswaxteam website.   I just love this piece.  It is exciting to see others like it as well.  I enjoy connecting with other artist's who work in encaustic, which is what this site allows me to do.

This piece is available for sale on my etsy site Soularteeclectica.
I am getting excited by the fact that my upcoming Exploring Encaustics two day workshop at the end of February is filling already.  Today after my Medicine Art Women's group I plan on getting the hot plates fired up and making another large batch of encaustic medium.   I am happy to be back into the swing of working in my studio again.

Thank you both for the positive comments on my piece and this site. Lately I am finding more time to post on it, so I am giving it more attention. C

Hi Caterina~
I love your work!
And we are neighbors...hmmm...
Also I notice your interest in Angeles Arrien. Have you studied w/her at all? I am starting my 3rd year w/ her tomorrow.
I will keep watching your blog for future workshops.
Again beautiful work...

Hi Cyndee,
Yes we are both local Sonoma County people. Thanks for your comments on my art. As far as Angie is concerned, I haven't studied in her Four Fold Way Trainings...but I have taken many workshops with her and experienced her at many conferences. As an art therapist over 20 yrs ago, I attended a training that she did for Northern CA. art therapists, on the Universal Shapes and the Maori Mandala.....which has greatly infused my work. She is definitely one of my "teachers"...many many years ago, I got a tarot reading from her as well, in Petaluma. How wonderful for you to be in her traininng program. Nice to meet you.
